About the Author

Hi!

I’m Mara Caitlin—folkloric fantasy author, hobby painter, foodie, and neurospicy vlogger.

Growing up, I always felt different, never quite comfortable, never quite at home. But in books and stories, I’ve always found a place — a sense of belonging.

My life has been beautiful, filled with color and vast experiences. I have discovered great love in my wanderings and have been met with the heaviest of griefs. I feel everything at full volume, and because of that, creating isn’t optional for me. It is oxygen. It’s how I process the beautiful, the messy, and the unbearable parts of being human.

When I’m not writing or painting, I’m spiraling down a blackhole... no just kidding (kinda), I'm homeschooling my two wildlings, exploring tidepools, and getting lost in the magic of nature.

I write for the dreamers — the beautiful souls who’ve never quite fit in. The ones who are told they are "too much", "too sensitive", or "too different". 

To the believers and the mischief makers: may your lights never dim.
